BOOM 2014-2015

The 2014-2015 edition of BOOM was our ninth annual, and completed on June 5th, 2015. This year's finals were once again at The Tralf Music hall, and fans in attendance selected Uncle Ben's Remedy as the 2014-15 BOOM winners. The win earned them the $5000 grand prize, along with a time slot at 107.7FM's Kerfuffle, held at Canalside on July 25, 2015.

Uncle Ben's Remedy first appeared in the first week of Round 4, and shared the stage at the Finale with Round 1 winners Intent to Sell, Round 2 winner Erica Wolfling, and Round 3 winners Luanjie.

BOOM 2013-2014

The 2013-2014 edition of BOOM was our eighth annual, and completed on June 6th, 2014. The finals were held at The Tralf, and on that night Folkfaces received the most votes to become the newest BOOM winners. They took home a $5000 cash prize, as well as a spot on the bill for 107.7FM's Kerfuffle, held at Canalside on July 26th, 2014.

Folkfaces found their way to the finals from the second week of the first round, and joined Round 2 winners Pine Fever, Round 3 winners The Naturalists and Round 4 winners The Heavenly Chillbillies on stage at the Grand Finale.

BOOM 2012-2013

The 2012-2013 edition of BOOM is our seventh annual, and recently wrapped up on June 14th, 2013. This year's finals were held at the Sportsmen's Tavern, and saw Randle and the Late Night Scandals collect the most votes to become our latest BOOM Grand Champion and $5000 winner.

Randle and the Late Night Scandals emerged from the very first week of the very first round, and faced Round 2 winners Den of Lions, Round 3 winners Well Worn Boot and Round 4 winners Essential Vitamins Crew.

BOOM 2011-2012

The 2011-2012 edition of BOOM was our sixth annual, with $5,000 cash awarded to the years' Grand Champions, The Tins (pictured right.)

The Tins emerged from the first week of the second round in December '11, took the Round 2 Quarterfinal win and eventually went on to take the most votes in the finale, beating out our other three Quarterfinalists: Round 1 - Patrons of Sweet, Round 3 - '92 Bills, and Round 4 - Sleepless City.

BOOM 2010-2011

The 2010-2011 edition of BOOM was our fifth annual, with $5,000 cash awarded to the years' Grand Champions, The Etchings (pictured right.)

The Etchings found their way to the finals from their start in the very first week of the very first round, and faced off against Round 2 winners The Funky Beets, Round 3 winners the Andrew J. Reimers Country Punk Extravaganza and Round 4 winners, Steel Keys & Brass.

BOOM 2009-2010

On Friday, March 5th, 2010, four bands walked into the Tralf and four walked out, but only one took home a satchel of cold hard cash, and hundreds of dollars worth of recording equipment from Guitar Center. Over 400 people turned out to witness Photos of Wagons (pictured right) take the grand prize in the annual Artvoice Battle of Original Music. Joining 3rd Round winners Photos of Wagons in the finals were The Albrights (Round 1), Hunger Anthem (Round 2), and DéjàFuze (Round 4).

BOOM 2008-2009
