Why you should win the Artvoice.com Online Battle of Original Music: We have been together for over 3 years playing together and we believe that our music can compete in a battle of original music. We put our hearts into this and have a fan base that grew from 150 to 350 in the 6 months. With the winnings we can be at the next level we need to be.
Band bio: Tugboat formed in late 2013 with the goal of creating solid rock and roll. No frills, no gimmicks, just riffs. Started by Casey Mullaney and Jeremy Shofner on guitar and drums, and Christopher Strom and Ricky Caughill on bass and vocals, Tugboat started playing for Buffalo audiences in the spring on 2014 and have been playing regularly since. Combining Sabbath-esque heaviness with modern hardcore aspects, Tugboat aims to bring hard rock back to Buffalo’s music scene.

Why you should win the Artvoice.com Online Battle of Original Music: Most bands in Buffalo are putting out generic covers, generic metalcore, or recycled standards... we want to make new original heavy rock that’s accessible to everyone.
