BOOM! Submission

BOOM! is open to bands of any genre who play original material in the Western NY area. In order to submit your band for competition, you will need the following:

• One or two full-length songs in MP3 or AAC (.m4a) format (suggested bitrate of 192kbps). Please do not attempt to upload uncompressed AIF or WAV files, or Windows Media (WMA) files, as they will be rejected. If you need help ripping or converting your music, click here.
• One or two high resolution band photos in JPEG or TIFF format.
• A correctly filled out registration form, below

Please make sure you have the files necessary and ready to go (audio files and photographs) before you fill out this form. Once you fill out the questions below, you will be forwarded to a page where you can upload your files and complete the submission process. Your total upload on the next page will be limited to 4 files total, at 40MB total - so check your files in advance to make sure you'll comply. (This is plenty of space for two average high resolution images and 20+ minutes of music, if you follow our suggestions. Check the help page for more info.)

Please also make sure your song files are appropriately named, or leave a note in the comments box to let us know the names of the songs you're submitting. Don't make us guess what "track 03" or some such is supposed to be!

By submitting this material, you agree that you are either a member of the band, or a representative of the band acting on behalf, with the band's full consent to post this material. You are also giving Artvoice permission to feature your band by potentially printing your responses and photos in print, and placing these items as well as your music on the BOOM! website.
